Um, this is awkward. Justin was double-shutdown after he tried to make a pass at Ariana on Jan. 20. She posted an absolutely adorable video on Instagram featuring the Snapchat filter where you pop bubbles. Her former tour-mate said what we were all thinking when he commented on the vid, saying “damn Ariana u look so good.” I mean, she does look so good, but she also has a boyfriend. And after he shut Justin down, she may have as well. Following his comment, she tweeted “lol no.” followed by “not today satan !!!!!! gtg finish this music & live my cute, drama-free life.”

To be fair, this tweet may not be directed toward Justin. His fans started attacking her out of jealousy after he started flirting with Ari, so she could just be responding to that negative attention. Plus, Ari is relatively religious so she might literally mean that she’s keeping “satan” out of her life. It just seems like the timing is too perfect for it NOT to be about Justin.
Plus, the “drama-free” part seems like a giveaway for where the diss is directed. Justin is like a magnet for drama. Whether it’s with Selena Gomez, Hailey Baldwin or Kourtney Kardashian, all of his relationships are headline news, and they’re rarely for good, happy reasons. Ari is known to fly under the radar, and has a non-famous boyfriend. So maybe she did mean that she wants Justin to leave her be and avoid bringing a ton of unwanted attention her way.
