Stars Who Have Yet To Win A Grammy Award
It’s shocking to know that there are some incredibly talented and popular artists who have not yet won a Grammy Award. Over the years, these singers and songwriters have created tracks that have left an indelible impression on fans, but not so much with the Recording Academy. Even if they have amassed impressive nods for their albums, songs, and collaborations, Grammy glory has still eluded them. While some artists are just at the start of their career with only a few nominations, others have been at their craft for decades without an honor. Across all genres there have been some serious snubs and some controversial choices, but one thing is for sure. These artists are fairly due to finally earn a competitive Grammy down the line. Kenny Chesney
Counry crooner Kenny Chesney hasn’t won a Grammy yet despite his seven nominations. His last nod came in 2017 for Best Country Album, “Cosmic Hallelujah.”
Nicki Minaj
Nicki Minaj is still waiting for her very first Grammy Award. She’s been nominated 10 times with her last three nods coming in 2015.
Katy Perry
Pop star Katy Perry has yet to win a Grammy, as well. She’s earned 13 nominations since her first in 2008.
Jennifer Lopez
It feels like Jennifer Lopez ought to have a Grammy at this point. But the Recording Academy honor has eluded her. She only has two nominations, with her last coming in 2001 for Best Dance Recording for “Let’s Get Loud.”
Snoop Dogg
Although he’s been in the rap game for decades, Snoop Dogg still has yet to win a Grammy. Of Snoop’s 16 nods, his last came in 2015 for Album of the Year for ‘To Pimp A Butterfly.’
Demi Lovato
Demi Lovato is still searching for her first Grammy. She’s been nominated twice for Best Pop Vocal Album in 2016 for ‘Confident’ and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Fall In Line” in 2018.

R&B artist Brian McKnight has yet to earn a Grammy for his illustrious career. He has received 17 nominations since 1993 and still has yet to earn Grammy gold.
Miley Cyrus
Though still curating a career for herself, Miley has yet to win a Grammy. She earned her first and only nod in 2014 for her album ‘Bangerz.’
Bjork
Although not everyone’s jam, Bjork’s music has, without question, left an indelible mark on the industry. Yet, she’s never won a Grammy Award. She’s been nominated 15 times with her last nod coming in 2018 for Best Alternative Music Album.
Diana Ross
A major shock for fans of the legendary songstress, Diana Ross has not yet won a competitive Grammy Award. She’s been nominated 12 times, and received an honorary award in 2019.
Sia
Eclectic singer Sia has formed profound career, which is why it’s so strange she has yet to earn a Grammy Award. She’s been nominated nine times, with her last nomination coming in 2017 for Best Song Written for Visual Media for “Never Give Up.”
Morrissey
A controversial fixture of the music industry, Morrissey has yet to win a Grammy Award. His last nod came in 1992 for Best Alternative Music Album.
Death Cab for Cutie
A Grammy win has also eluded alternative rock group Death Cab for Cutie. The band has been nominated for seven honors, with their last coming in Best Rock Album in 2015.
Nas
Nas has been nominated for 13 Grammy Awards and still has not one a single honor. His last nomination came in 2012, when he was nominated for four Grammys, including Best Rap Performance, Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap Album.
