After LeAnn Rimes was crowned the winner of 'The Masked Singer,' fans resurfaced Brandi Glanville's tweet from Oct., when she claimed the singer said the show was 'so beneath her.'
UPDATE: On Dec. 17, Brandi Glanville took to Twitter and said she wasn’t shading LeAnn Rimes on Twitter. She wrote, “First of all I did not shade or diss lean rimes I rooted for her to win. She clearly told my kids that she’d never do the show to keep things a secret because they have big mouths. She deserved to win I’m glad she won! stop reading into shit!”

ORIGINAL: Brandi Glanville has been tuning into The Masked Singer this season, which means she was watching when her kids’ stepmom, LeAnn Rimes, was crowned the winner on Dec. 16. It turns out, Brandi had a feeling that LeAnn was under the Sun costume months ago, and after the finale, her shady prediction tweet from October resurfaced. “I think the sun is 100 percent LeAnn Rimes although my kids say no way because she told them that she would never do this show because it’s sooo beneath her,” Brandi wrote on Oct. 7.

The shade is real! Ahead of the finale, Brandi also posted another tweet throwing shade at LeAnn. “Hope my kids bonus mom The Sun [LeAnn Rimes] wins The Masked Singer tonight #spitfire,” she wrote. She even misspelled LeAnn’s name without a care in the world! It’s no secret that Brandi and LeAnn have beef based on their history, but this is the first time that it’s been displayed on social media in quite some time.

Brandi was previously married to LeAnn’s current husband, Eddie Cibrian. The pair wed in 2001 and had two sons together. However, their relationship ended in 2009 after Eddie had an affair with LeAnn on the set of their movie, Northern Lights. Eddie and LeAnn got engaged in Dec. 2010 and tied the knot the following April. This whole situation led to a lot of tension between Brandi and Eddie, as well as Brandi and LeAnn. The feud was extremely public for years.
These days, Brandi is amicable with Eddie and LeAnn for co-parenting purposes, but their relationship is far from friendly. “They will never be the best of friends,” a source told HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY earlier this year. “They don’t really get along. They’ve come a long way, but they live very different lives and struggle to get along properly.”
Last Christmas, fans thought that Brandi and LeAnn had put their differences behind them when they posed for a photo together with the kids on the holiday. However, Brandi made a point to reveal on Twitter that she was actually not invited to spend Christmas with her ex and the country singer. Rather, she explained that they all took a quick photo in the driveway while she was picking up the kids at Eddie’s house. The shade is real!
