Slender Man Stabber Turned Dreams Into Reality, Says Brother

On Monday, June 2, alleged Slender Man stabbers Anissa and Morgan made their first court appearance in Waukesha County Circuit Court in Wisconsin. Both girls were charged as adults after allegedly luring their friend into the woods and stabbing her 19 times.

Anissa and Morgan were charged with attempted first-degree intentional homicide, and they each face up to 65 years in prison if found guilty. According to the official criminal complaint filed by the state of Wisconsin, both of the girls admitted to stabbing their friend.

In the first official interview with a family member after the horrifying stabbing, Anissa’s older brother, William, spoke to the Daily Mail about his little sister and her obsession with the internet urban legend, Slender Man.

“She loved CreepyPasta, she loved the Slender Man stories, just anything a bit creepy. But I don’t see why it changed from dream to reality,” William shared.

“I know she understood what she was doing because she is very intelligent, to the point where by she lacks common sense. But she is only a little girl so I don’t think she understood the ramifications of what she was doing.”

William also shared that he and his family are in a state of shock at the moment, especially Anissa’s father.

The stabbing victim remains in the hospital, but is reportedly in stable condition.

Anissa Was A ‘Normal’ & ‘Happy’ Little Girl

Despite her obsession with Slender Man and the horror stories on CreepyPasta, William claims his sister Anissa was just a normal 12-year-old.

“If you looked at my younger sister you’d see a normal happy 12-year-old. She’s just got a couple of weird interests. Personally I think she found Slender Man on YouTube, took an interest and then read up on it.”

“She was very quiet, she kept to herself, but she was happy-go-lucky, so this is completely out of the blue,” William shared.

William’s interview is the first time a family member has spoken out about the awful stabbing that took place on Saturday, May 31. As of Tuesday, June 3, the victim remains unidentified.

Our thoughts remain with the young stabbing victim and her family at this time.
