Busy Philipps is an American actress, writer and activist. She got her fame starring in the television series Freaks and Geeks (1999–2000), Dawson’s Creek (2001–03) and ER (2006–07). In Dawson’s, Busy portrayed Audrey Liddell and earned a Teen Choice Award nom for “Best Sidekick,” as she played her real-life BFF Michelle Williams’ bestie in the show. She then took her talents to the Courteney Cox produced series Cougar Town from 2009 to 2015 as Laurie Keller. Busy went on to win a Critics’ Choice Television Award for the role. In 2018, Busy Philipps premiered her own talk show on E!, produced by Tina Fey. Despite the show’s success, it only lasted one season but Busy is continuing to try to find a new home for the show.
