Summer has sadly come to an end. But don’t fret, because one of the best seasons for cozy, fun new frocks is here. It’s officially fall and celebrities have been embracing the hottest and classic trend of the season – denim. While there are tons of different denim styles to try, one classic look that everyone from Kaia Gerber, 19, to Bella Hadid, 23, has fashioned is jeans with a sweater or jacket. Now, we’re taking a look at our favorite ways celebs have rocked this staple of any and every wardrobe.
Kaia was out in SoHo in NYC on October 11, 2019 when she threw on a pair of dark wash skinny jeans. She paired the tight pants with mid-calf black leather Frye Harness 12R Boots, a black sweater, and an oversized black leather and suede jacket on top, choosing to keep it unzipped. Meanwhile, just two days later on Oct. 13, the model stepped out with her mom, Cindy Crawford, 54, in NYC, where Kaia opted to wear a baggier pair of high-waisted blue jeans with a black sweater, a black Danielle Guizo Belted Leather Trench Coat, white Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Air Force 1 Low sneakers, and a ’47 New York Yankees Hat.
Bella Hadid, of course, tried out the trend as well. She went for a ’90s-inspired layered look with her baggy denim jeans. On top, Bella layered a white button-down shirt with a blue and orange sweater vest. The finishing touch was a checkered blazer that tied the whole relaxed ensemble together. Naturally, just like Kaia, Bella also wore a face mask in order to keep herself and those around her safe amid the coronavirus pandemic.
