Celebs Protesting Donald Trump
Donald was elected to be the 45th United States president in Nov. 2016. He started his term in Jan. 2017 and since then, he has established a rocky relationship with many media outlets as well as social media followers. From mockery about his appearance to his tweets about national issues, the former businessman has been the subject of many headlines that have nothing to do with politics.
Since the election of President Donald Trump, celebrities have been using their platforms to speak out and protest his administration and policies. One of the biggest ways people have seen stars and famous faces go out of their way to protest the president is through the Women’s March. Over the country and across the globe, stars like Viola Davis, Alicia Keys, and more. Many have taken to the streets, their social media, and have even used industry events to protest the president’s platform.
