Celebrities Who Will Celebrate Passover
While most of us know everything there is to know about our celebrities, we can bet some of you don’t know the religions of many of them! Sure, Scarlett Johansson was hilarious in He’s Just Not That Into You, and Jake Gyllenhaal is mostly everyone’s dream boyfriend (who also was amazing in Spider Man: Far From Home), did you know that both of these A-listers celebrate the Jewish holiday of Passover? Maybe not!
Scarlett Johansson, pictured here arriving at the Academy Awards in February 2020, along with Jake Gyllenhaal, Adam Levine and many more celebrities celebrate the Passover holiday traditionally with their families every year. While some of them were born and raised fully under the Jewish religion and others are just 50%, many of Hollywood’s stars celebrate the deliverance of the Jewish people from slavery with their families back home. Adam Levine
Bet you didn’t know this one, but the hunky Maroon 5 lead singer, Adam Levine’s dad and grandfather are both Jewish. His mother is Protestant, but he declares himself to be Jewish and therefore celebrate all Jewish holidays, including Passover. (Photo by Mega Agency.)
