Charlotte Casiraghi arrives for the ‘Bal de la Rose’ (Rose Ball), in Monaco, 30 March 2019. The Rose Ball is a traditional annual charity event in the Principality of Monaco. This year the theme is ‘Riviera’, designed by late German Karl Lagerfeld and Princess Caroline of Hanover, who is Charlotte’s mother. Her father is Stefano Casiraghi, an Italian industrialist. Her grandmother was Princess Grace, the former Hollywood star Grace Kelly. Charlotte is 11th in line to the throne in Moncaco. She has two children, a five year old son Raphaël Elmaleh by her former boyfriend, French comedian Gad Elmaleh. She also has a seven month old son Bathazar Rassam. On June 1, 2019, she married the baby’s father Dimitri Rassam. He’s a French film producer who Charlotte has been with since 2017. The couple became engaged in 2018 but decided to wait until after the birth of their baby to get married. Now that the couple has wed, their baby is in line to the Monagesque throne.
