The pair was seen leaving Karrueche's event at Playhouse nightclub on Dec. 24, and HollywoodLife.com has exclusively learned that their meeting was prompted be an emotional phone call Chris made to Kae where he professed, "how badly in love he is with her." It’s no secret that Chris and Kae have had their issues over the years, but they always seem to find a way back to one another. A source exclusively revealed, that before Karrueche’s event, Chris called her and opened up his heart.
“When she answered, all she did was listen. Chris confided in her, told her how badly in love he is with her and how he regrets treating her like garbage,” our insider revealed. “He told her how he would ‘want to die’ if he couldn’t have her or spend the holidays with her. What got Karrueche is that Chris began to cry on the phone. He’s a tough guy and when he starts choking up and getting teary eyed, Kae knows he’s trying to be genuine.”
Chris was not the only one in tears.”It was a very emotional phone conversation. Karrueche started crying to because she’s missed him dearly but wasn’t about to cave into him unless she felt that he was serious and honest and honest,” our insider said. “And in this case, she thought he was.”
“They talked for about 30 minutes or so and Karrueche told him he’s welcome to come and assist her with her toy drive event at Playhouse because she wanted to see him doing something nice for others instead of being self-centered and selfish.”
