DaBaby was born Jonathan Lyndale Kirk on December 31, 1991 in Ohio. The rapper was later raised in Charlotte North Carolina, where he graduated from Vance High School. The rapper began releasing music via mixtapes back in 2015, and, after releasing 12, debuted his first studio album ‘Baby On Baby’ in March 2019! His single ‘Suge (Yea Yea)’ went viral on social media — with Shay Mitchell even jamming to the tune on her Instagram story — and the track ultimately hit top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts! Only 6 months later, DaBaby released his second studio album ‘Kirk’ which debuted right at number 1. In addition to his commercial success, the rapper won ‘Best New Hip-Hop Artist’ at the 2019 BET Hip-Hop Awards and made the coveted lists for XXL’s 2019 Freshman and Forbes ’30 Under 30.’
