Dakota Johnson is getting a little help from Ellen Degeneres in preparing for her role in 'Fifty Shades Darker.' The actress stopped by The Ellen Show on Sept. 18 to talk about her upcoming film,"Black Mass," but as is the case with many talk-show hosts and interviewers today, Ellen DeGeneres, 57, just couldn't help but bring up Fifty Shades of Grey. In fact, she was so excited about Dakota returning to the film's sequel that she presented her with a vey special gift: her very own sexy toys. See Dakota's hilarious reaction below!
Well, that’s awkward! While discussing the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey sequel, Ellen decided to spice things up by gifting the actress a collection of “Ellen Blue” S&M toys including a flogger, a crop and rhinestone encrusted handcuffs. Even Dakota couldn’t resist giggling at the silly toys, and accepted them graciously. Of course, that wasn’t all Ellen had in store for her. Worried that Dakota might get a little cold in between filming her sex scenes with co-star Jamie Dornan, 33, the host decided to give her, her very own “Ellen Blue” blanket, which was printed with the phrase, “Ellen’s Got Your Back.”
Unfortunately for Dakota, the sex toys probably won’t come to much use off set. Apparently, the S&M-fueled flick hasn’t worked wonders on Dakota’s dating life, as she admit that single men either adore her or fear being anywhere near her. “I guess they’re scared of me,” the brunette beauty joked. “They either love me or they’re running for the hills…I guess they’re running for the hills.”
One of those men who darted in the opposite direction: Dakota’s on-again, off-again boyfriend Matthew Hitt. The two reportedly rekindled their romance over the summer after calling it off back in December 2014, but have since gone their separate ways, Dakota confirmed. She’s certainly not letting it get her down though. The 25-year-old actress is said to have recently rekindled her love affair with Jake Gyllenhaal, 34, after the two allegedly shared a table together at a Los Angeles nightclub back in August 2015, and were seen “glancing” at each other in a romantic way. Can you imagine — Anastasia Steele and Jack Gyllenhaal?! Now, that should be a move!
