Amber and Johnny were “on the rocks” from the moment they said, “I Do,” according to Page Six, as their love “turned sour almost immediately” after the wedding. Amber’s bisexual past was reportedly a big problem, as Johnny wasn’t thrilled with her close friendship with iO Tillet Wright, 30, an activist in the LGBTQ community. Johnny “doesn’t like iO,” an insider told Page Six, and thought they “were spending too much time together for it to be comfortable.”
At the time, iO was staying at Johnny’s house as a guest, and she moved out after this reported confrontation. Johnny then “started making [Amber] travel with him,” an insider told Page Six, “and she started distancing herself from her lesbian friends.” Prior to her marriage to Johnny, Amber was in a four-year relationship with photographer and artist, Tasya Van Ree, 40.
Amber will have plenty of time to reconnect with her friends – lesbian, straight, asexual or otherwise — when she and Johnny make their divorce official. In his first statement after Amber filed the papers, Johnny said that he hoped “the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly.” It doesn’t seem like he’s too interested in trying to make it work.

No wonder Amber cited “irreconcilable differences” in her divorce papers. It turns out that Johnny wasn’t the easiest person to live with. During their 15-month marriage, Johnny “would go on these roller coaster emotional swings that were really hard on Amber,” a source EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com. “It took a serious toll on their relationship as she felt lonely.”
Johnny’s kids didn’t really help Amber feel any better, as they reportedly “hated” their father’s new wife. Johnny wasn’t in the mood to have any more children, reportedly turning down Amber’s demands to have a baby. Amber may not walk away from this divorce with a child, but she may get a good chunk of Johnny’s $400 million dollar fortune.
