Dyllón Burnside stars as Ricky Wintour (formerly Evangelista) in the beloved FX series Pose. He visited HollywoodLife to discuss the second season and what is to come for his character. Ricky, a dancer, was recently diagnosed with AIDS in the midst of the ravaging epidemic in the ’80s and ’90s, when the show takes place. Formerly of The House Of Evangelista, Dyllón’s character Ricky leaves and joins House Of Wintour in Season 2. He also begins to explore a relationship with emcee of the balls in New York, Pray Tell, played by Billy Porter.
Dyllón got his start in the entertainment industry at the age of 12 as a memer of the of hip-hop/R&B boy band “3D.” He continued his career in musical theater, starring in the Tupac-inspired musical Holler if Ya Hear Me on Broadway in 2014. He is currently working on a new solo album.
