Elaine Welteroth is an American journalist, author, producer, activist, and TV host best known for being the Editor-in-Chief of Teen Vogue for three years. Elaine, already an accomplished journalist, became the youngest editor in Conde Nast’s history when she was named Teen Vogue‘s EIC in 2016 at just 29 years old. She was also the company’s first Black EIC, and was also their first Black beauty director when she wrote for Glamour in 2012.
After leaving Teen Vogue, Elaine wrote a memoir, More Than Enough: Claiming Space for Who You Are (No Matter What They Say), and wrote for other publications. She joined Project Runway as a judge, alongside Karlie Kloss and Christian Siriano, in 2018. It was announced in December 2020 that she, along with Amanda Kloots, would join The Talk as new cohosts for season 11, beginning in January 2021.
