Elizabeth Warren Waves to Voters
Elizabeth Warren is the Democratic Senator from Massachusetts. Warren was first a teacher, and then became a lawyer, practicing law out of her home while her second child was just months old. She later went on to become a law professor at Rutgers University, the University of Houston, University of Texas-Austin, University of Michigan, University of Pennsylvania, and Harvard University. It was that political and law savvy that led to her becoming one of the most powerful names in the United States Senate. Per her campaign site, “Elizabeth is widely credited for the original thinking, political courage, and relentless persistence that led to the creation of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
