Felly – Pics
From Connecticut, to the Surf Trap beaches of California, to your heart. Felly (born Christian Felner) is an American rapper, singer-songwriter, and artist. While attending the University of Southern California, he released several mixtapes and an EP. His first major project, Waking Up To Sirens, dropped in 2014, which led him to work as an opener for well-respected producer/DJ/hip-hop guru Madlib. In 2017, he released Wild Strawberries, and he followed it up in 2018 with Surf Trap. Never one to rest, Felly continued to create, and released a collaboration with Carlos Santana in 2019.
“I just find a thrill in keeping, exploring, and tapping into new energies,” he told HollywoodLife in 2019. “What you’re going to hear on the new album is stuff that is maybe a little reminiscent, like I mentioned, of some older stuff, but it totally sounds brand new, and it’s not like anything else. That’s the goal.”

Felly Contemplates The Nature Of The World
“I’m open to everything, but music has been what helps me,” he told HollywoodLife in 2019. “It’s sort of like a spiritual thing, too. It’s like the closer you can get to making really good music, i.e., allowing that to be channeled, allowing the higher energy to be channeled, the closer I feel with a higher power and God and stuff.”
Felly Is In His Element
“I want to work with John Mayer, I want to work with Rage Against the Machine, I want to work with…” Felly told HollywoodLife. “Lana Del Rey. I want to work with all sorts of people around here. We’ll see. We’ll see who digs it.”
Felly In San Francisco
Felly performs at Outside Lands Music Festival in 2019. Though he’s from Connecticut, California has adopted him as one of their own.
Felly And Carlos Santana
“I think Santana’s for the people, man,” Felly told HollywoodLife in 2019. “I really think that guy is from space. I mean, he said it himself. He’s like, ‘I am from space.’ He’s like, ‘So are you.'”
Felly In Space
“It’s just like it was a really cool new perspective on music but also life and just sort of gave a more spiritual, supernatural aspect to creation rather than just getting in, doing a couple of takes of just running through the motions.”
