Fortnite is an online video game that was released in 2017. For those who don’t know, players skydive onto a small island and are equipped with only an axe and they must scavenge for more weapons, all at the same time while simultaneously trying to avoid a massive killer electrical storm. Sounds scary, right?! As players are eliminated one-by-one, the field of play also gets smaller and smaller, which means that the players are also put closer together. The game continues to get more intense as it continues until there is only one champion left. Fortnite is available in three distinct game mode versions that share the same general gameplay: Fortnite: Save the World, Fortnite Battle Royale, and Fortnite Creative. Fortnite is available on iOS, Android, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Mac. Fortnite season 5 dropped on July 12.
