‘Fosse/Verdon’ premieres April 9 at 10 p.m. on FX. It’s an eight episode limited series from award-winning producers Thomas Kail, Steven Levenson, Joel Fields and Lin-Manuel Miranda. Sam Rockwell and Michelle Williams play the two people at the center of the show — Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon. Spanning five decades, ‘Fosse/Verdon’ explores the romantic and creative partnership between Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon. He is a visionary filmmaker and one of the theater’s most influential choreographers and directors. She is the greatest Broadway dancer of all time. Only Bob can create the groundbreaking musicals that allow Gwen to showcase her greatness. Only Gwen can realize the unique vision in Bob’s head. The show will feature incredible choreography, including original pieces and some of the most iconic works of Bob and Gwen’s careers.
