George and Amal Clooney are arming their three-year-old twins with plenty of life skills -- including a language that neither of their parents speak!
George Clooney and Amal Clooney are great parents to their three-year-old twins Alexander and Ella — but the A-lister revealed they might have made one mistake. “We did a really dumb thing. Which is they speak fluent Italian at three, but I don’t speak Italian and my wife doesn’t speak Italian,” George told Jimmy Kimmel during a December 2 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. “Yeah, it’s a little crazy,” the 59-year-old added, while rocking a black tee, light wash denim jeans, and a black leather jacket.
“It’s terrible. We’ve armed them with a language. I’ll say, ‘Go back in and clean up your room’ and they’re like ‘Eh, papo stronzo’ and I’m like, ‘Eh, what?’,” he laughed. The actor also revealed he and Amal have been quarantined with their kids in Los Angeles for most of 2020, and that his office had been turned into a nursery, “It’s a terrible thing,” he said, joking that he had snuck a bottle of tequila into one of the kids’ stuffed animals. George was promoting his new Netflix sci-fi movie Midnight Sky, which he stars in and also directs. He described it as a “film about regret and redemption”.
Just last month, George opened about his previous bachelor lifestyle, and why he finally settled down with Amal. “I was like, ‘I’m never getting married. I’m not gonna have kids,’” he said in an interview with GQ. “I’m gonna work, I’ve got great friends, my life is full, I’m doing well. And I didn’t know how un-full it was until I met Amal. And then everything changed. And I was like, ‘Oh, actually, this has been a huge empty space.’” The couple met in 2013, and it was love at first sight — they tied the knot just one year later.
