Trammell Logan is a SoulCycle Instructor, a Fitness Expert, and the Founder of East Side Dance Co. I took his SoulCycle class in New York last week and it was INTENSE! Kelly Ripa is a huge fan of his class, too! I felt amazing afterward — he is such a great teacher! He also told me some tips on how to get legs like Jennifer Lopez! “To develop lean legs like the beautiful J-Lo, it’s really important to use both cardio and strength training to tone your legs! I highly recommend spin classes paired with gym workouts including squats, lunges, and calf raises.  Try this equipment-free workout at home: 50 squats, 40 alternating reverse lunges, 30 alternating lateral lunges, 20 froggers, and 10 jump squats. Add dumbbells for an extra challenge on the first three movements! If you can’t make it to a class, jumping rope is an effective and affordable option to get your cardio burn.”

I personally love classes, but you don’t need to spend a ton of money or be close to a fitness studio to get results. “Cost-effective workouts include jump roping, running, and body weight circuits,” Trammell says. “When putting together my own full-body workouts, I try to incorporate cardio as well as the following exercises: 1-2 upper body, 1-2 lower body, 1-2 core, and 1-2 full body.
