The 64th Annual Grammy Awards presented by the Recording Academy honored the best and biggest albums released between September 2020 and September 2021. The award show was held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday April 3. The award show boasted having ‘The Daily Show’ host Trevor Noah to emcee the evening, and the announced presenters were varied, including the likes of Avril Lavigne, Dua Lipa, Jared Leto and many more. The show also featured plenty of the nominees and biggest names in music taking the stage, including ‘good 4 u’ singer Olivia Rodrigo, K-Pop sensations BTS, rap superstar Lil Nas X, and many more. Of all the super talented nominees, pop polymath Jon Batiste netted the most nominations with his singles spanning genres including R&B, jazz, and American Roots music. He’d also netted the coveted Album of the Year and Record of the Year nominations.

Olivia Rodrigo Drops Her Grammy
After the show, Olivia Rodrigo posed for a photo with her three Grammys, but she lost her grip on one. The ‘Driver’s License’ singer dropped one of her awards and broke it. Luckily, she has two more!
Silk Sonic Open The Show
Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak brought the funk as Silk Sonic. The pair gave an amazing performance of ‘777’ to kick off the show! The duo really brought the Vegas vibes to set the tone for the evening.
Trevor Noah Tells Some Jokes At The Top
Trevor Noah opened the show with a hilarious monologue, quipping about all the popstars in attendance. He even worked in a joke about the Will Smith-Chris Rock slapping incident at the Oscars, where he said, “We’re going to be keeping people’s names out of our mouths,” as he got ready to introduce Olivia Rodrigo.
Olivia Rodrigo Singer ‘Drivers License’
Speaking of Olivia Rodrigo, she gave a stunning performance of her breakout hit ‘drivers license’ as the second performance of the night. Complete with a car onstage, she delivered the breakup ballad perfectly.
J. Balvin & Maria Becerra Sing Together
Things got hot for J Balvin and Maria Becerra! The Latin superstars performed their song ‘Que Mas Pues’ together, before J. Balvin sang ‘In Da Getto’ solo.
J Balvin Takes The Stage
J Balvin sported an all red outfit furing his ‘In Da Getto’ performance. The rapper had a panel of choreographed dancers along with him.
Silk Sonic Wins Song Of The Year
Bruno Mars, Dernst Emile II, Anderson .Paak smiled as they accepted the award for ‘Song of the Year.’ The first award was a special occasion for the group, and Dernst dedicated the award to his late mother.
Questlove Presents Song of the Year
Questlove rocked all-black while presenting the award for Song of the Year. He also worked in a reference to the Oscars, where he won the Best Documentary Award.
BTS Perform ‘Butter’
BTS took to the stage to perform their latest hit ‘Butter.’ The K-pop sensations were met with a massive applause.
Lil Nas X Performs ‘Montero’
Lil Nas X sang his hit song ‘Montero’ in front of a giant bust of his head. Before launching into the hit song, he included a montage of some of the controversy he stirred with the music video.
Lil Nas X & Jack Harlow Perform ‘Industry Baby’
Jack Harlow joined Lil Nas X during ‘Industry Baby.’ Jack was in an all-black outfit, while Lil Nas X sported a black marching band outfit, bringing on some My Chemical Romance vibes.
Billie Eilish & Finneas Perform ‘Happier Than Ever’
Billie Eilish got drenched at the end of her performance of ‘Happier than Ever.’ Her brother Finneas joined her for the emotional song, rocking out on guitar.

Billie Eilish gave one of the most memorable performances of the evening with her title track from her latest album. She sang the emotional ballad while wearing a t-shirt with late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins printed on it.

Olivia Rodrigo got emotional after winning the Best New Artist award. She beat out other up-and-comers like Jimmie Allen, Arlo Parks, and The Kid Laroi.

Two legends! Joni Mitchell and Bonnie Raitt joined together onstage to present Brandi Carlile’s performance. Both women looked excited to share the moment at the award show.
