Heidi Klum Splits From Martin Kirsten
“Martin was there for her during a challenging time in her life and it was something she will always be grateful for,” Heidi’s friend told People. Additionally, they have decided they will no longer be working together, either.
Heidi Klum Is Single Again
“Life is about timing,” the source added. “He was incredibly supportive and they were there for each other, but they’re moving on now. They still have a great friendship.”
Heidi announced her split from ex-husband Seal in June 2012, and began dating her bodyguard shortly after.
Heidi & Martin’s Romance Upset Seal
When Martin and Heidi began dating before her divorce was final, Seal was not happy about it.
“I didn’t expect any better from [the bodyguard]…but I would’ve thought Heidi would [have] shown a bit more class…before deciding to fornicate with the help, as it were,” Seal told TMZ in September 2012.
However, he wasn’t saying that she cheated, his team later cleared up.
“Seal would like to clarify that he was not implying his wife was cheating on him while they were together,” his team told People. “But rather he was pointing out that they are separated and the divorce is not final so they are legally still married.”
Regardless of the drama, Heidi and Seal stayed close through the split and have been supportive of their four children.
