LegaCCy Gala at The Shed at Hudson Yards
Yankees star pitcher CC Sabathia was honored for his incredible career at the LegaCCy Gala at The Shed at Hudson Yards in New York City. The black-tie event saw celebrities and athletes come together for a star-studded evening that paid tribute to CC’s legacy on and off the field.
The evening consisted of performances by artists and DJ’s such as T-Pain, Questlove, DJ Olivia Dope and was emcee’d by radio personality Angie Martinez. Andy Pettitte delivered a heartfelt speech to honor Sabathia and presented him with the LegaCCy Award for his lasting impact on the communities of which his PitCCh In Foundation serves. All proceeds from the gala and auction benefitted the PitCCh In Foundation and in total raised over $1.6 million on the night.
