As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Justin took to Instagram on Dec. 15 to say: “People are crazy. I’m super single and this is my good friend u would know otherwise.”
This came three days after Selena allegedly had a crying fit at Taylor’s 25th birthday party.
While standing on the upper terrace of the “Blank Space” singer’s Tribeca apartment, “[Selena] shouted, ‘No one understands me! My boyfriend doesn’t even understand me,” a source told Us Weekly, adding that partygoers, including Sam Smith “just stared [at her].”
Apparently, Justin got wind of this and felt really bad. He doesn’t want to see Selena upset, so he made a huge declaration, saying he’s “single.”
