Whoa, that’s a pretty blunt answer, Charlie! As if his response wasn’t telling enough, Charlie even scoffed when Elvis makes jokes about his Selena fling later in the interview! But clearly he doesn’t hate Selena, because when the hosts asked Charlie if he would like to see Sel in the front row of one of his shows, he sweetly replied, “I hope so.” Maybe all romantic hope isn’t lost after all?
Even if a spark does ignite between Charlie and Selena in the future, he better be careful. The “See You Again” singer has gotten himself into some hot water with Selena’s on-and-off ex, Justin Bieber, recently, which could make things a little complicated!

During a performance of “We Don’t Talk Anymore,” his song that features Selena, Charlie boldly proclaimed, “F**k you, Justin Bieber” to the crowd, clearly defending Sel. But Charlie quickly took to Twitter to “deeply apologize” for his “mean and uncalled for” diss before JB could even respond, so hopefully that put out the fire before the flames got bigger!
Although Charlie seemed pretty adamant about denying that he and Selena are an item, what he didn’t declare was whether he would date her if the opportunity came up. He has admitted that Selena just “gets” him in the past, and reports have said that Sel is super into Charlie. He may have said they’re “not dating,” but that’s better than “we don’t talk anymore,” right?!
