John Cena & Nikki Bella’s Engagement
John Cena and Nikki Bella are both professional wrestlers, and their friendship became romantic in 2012, after John filed for divorce from his first wife. Throughout the relationship, John insisted that he never wanted to get married again OR have kids. Even though these were things Nikki wanted in life, she was willing to sacrifice them for John. Eventually, he changed his mind about marriage, and proposed to Nikki in a super public way at Wrestlemania in April 2017. However, by the beginning of 2018, the two started facing troubles in their relationship while planning their wedding. At this point, Nikki’s twin sister, Brie, had given birth to a daughter, and Nikki realized she wasn’t willing to sacrifice kids for John. He agreed to reverse his vasectomy to give her a child, and their wedding was scheduled for May 5, 2018. Just three weeks before, though, they announced that they had called off the nuptials.
