Prime Minister Justin Trudeau attends a Collision Technology Conference, Toronto, Canada on May 20, 2019. He is currently the 23rd PM of Canada, winning for the Liberal Party in 2015. He is the eldest son of former Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau. He was born in Ottowa and went on to become a teacher after attending McGill University and the University of British Columbia. He taught at West Point Grey Academy, a private day school in Vancouver before going back to school to study engineering the quitting that to enter politics. He went on to become a prominent member of the Liberal Party, rising through the ranks. He announced his bid to become the leader of the Liberal Party in 2012 and was declared the winner on April 14, 2013. He led the Liberals to victory in 2015 elections and became the second youngest prime minister of the nation. On Sept. 19, he had to address a photo where he appeared in brownface as Aladdin to a 2001 school Arabian Nights themed party, saying he was ‘really sorry.’
