Has the real cause of Kanye West's recent meltdowns been revealed? The rapper sings about being on anti-depressants on a song from his new album 'The Life Of Pablo,' and we have to wonder if that's the reason for his recent erratic behavior. Well, this might be cause for some concern. Kanye West, 38, has been shocking fans with Twitter rants and explosive meltdowns all week long, and he might've just revealed the reason why in one of his new songs. Could it be because he went off his prescribed anti-depressant, Lexapro!?
“You ain’t never seen nothing crazier than this n***a when he off his Lexapro,” Yeezy raps on the song “FML,” which is featured on his album that was released Feb. 14. In case you didn’t know, Lexapro is used to treat depression and anxiety, and the withdrawal period can be pretty intense. Could it be that Kanye is taking a break from the medication and experiencing withdrawal symptoms and mood swings because of it?! Of course, ‘Ye is known to exaggerate every so often, so the lyric in “FML” shouldn’t definitely be taken at face value.
Besides going off on Twitter several times, Kanye also had a major meltdown before his Saturday Night Live appearance on Feb. 14 — and the audio leaked online this week! In his explosive rant, he called Taylor Swift, 26, a “fake a**,” and freaked out over his set for the show being changed without his consent.
Obviously, the Kardashian family is pretty concerned about this behavior — especially Kris Jenner. Not only has the 60-year-old urged Yeezy to publicly apologize to Taylor, but she’s advising her younger daughters, Kendall and Kylie, to steer clear of the rapper since he could severely damage their brands. Hmm…perhaps Kanye should consider going back on his medication sooner rather than later!
