Karrueche Tran’s Hair In BET Promo — Sexy, Beachy Waves

Hairstylist Kelsey Deuel (follow her on Instagram here) told HollywoodLife.com how she styled Karrueche’s hot mane:

“Karrueche loves more of the natural look (and let’s face it, she doesn’t need much, she’s a natural beauty) so most of the time I’m doing soft, beachy waves. I first start off by curling her hair. I take about 1″ sections all over and wrap the hair around my curling iron in a diagonal angle (meaning the curling iron is at a diagonal angle). I spray each strand with Wella’s Stay Essential spray before applying the iron to her hair. I work around the head alternating curl directions to create variety. After curling the strands, I set in the curls with a finishing firm hairspray. I used Wella’s Stay Firm Hold hairspray. I let all the curls cool and then brush through them with a Mason Pearson brush. I then simply have her flip her head over and douse her hair in the wonderful Oribe Après Beach Spray that smells like heaven. Then I touch up any curls and maybe even tease some pieces for extra definition. Karrueche does the rest with making it look extra gorgeous!”
