Katie came to fame after acting on the show ‘Dawson’s Creek’ portraying the character Joey Potter after turning down the role of Buffy in ‘Buffy the Vamper Slayer.’ Since then, she’s continued her acting career in movies. However, she’s also made major headlines for her personal life over the years.
Katie and Tom Cruise started seeing one another in April 2005 and got engaged several weeks later. The two got married in Nov. 2006, and their daughter Suri was born April 2006, months before their wedding. Katie and Tom haven’t been publicly linked together since 2012, and divorced that same year.
