“Khloe puts them on his feet and when she does, she doubles up and puts two socks on each foot because Lamar hates his feet to be cold. There’s a Burberry checkered cashmere scarf draped around his neck. And to pull it all together, he’s got a vintage Lakers beanie on his bald head to keep warm,” our insider continued.
Lamar’s also missing the warm L.A, sunshine that’s outside his hospital window. “He’s begging to go outside because even with all his accessories on, he still feels that hospital chill in the air” our insider tells us. Poor Lammy hasn’t been outside except for his hospital transfer from Las Vegas to Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. But with failing kidneys and a respiratory infection, he’s far to fragile to leave his hospital bed. According to TMZ, fans are reaching out through social media willing to donate their own kidneys if it means saving Lamar’s life.
The former NBA star’s recovery continues to be touch and go. While his family put out a statement Oct. 22 saying he was improving, later in the day he had to undergo several emergency surgeries that left him shaken and fragile mentally, according to TMZ. Khloe is the only person allowed in the room with Lamar, as his doctors have banned all visitors so that he can recuperate in peace.
