Laura Benanti is one of today’s most exciting actresses, as she has worked with such stars as Jennifer Lawrence, Tiffany Haddish and Amy Schumer, and had roles in hits like ‘Gossip Girl’, ‘Supergirl’ and ‘Younger’. Oh… and Laura has a Tony Award too. The multihyphenate wonder took home the 2008 Best Actress in a Musical trophy for her incredible work in the ‘Gypsy’ revival!
The New York native’s Broadway successes would go on to include four more Tony nominations and winning the Drama Desk Award for Best Actress in ‘Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown’ in 2010.
She also played Elsa Schräder in the 2013 NBC TV production of ‘The Sound of Music Live!’ and has a recurring — and hilarious — role as Melania Trump on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.’
