In 2019, she released her hit single, ‘What You Gonna Do,’ and opened up to HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY about why it’s so important for her to really be able to connect with what she’s singing about. “I can’t put it into words, being able to connect with something, where I’ve been able to say things that I could never ever say in life through my music,” Laura said in our EXCLUSIVE interview. “Even if I didn’t write it — the song What You Gonna Do, which is my single that’s out now, I didn’t write it. But when I heard it, I was like, “I don’t know how to talk about the situation when it happens to me.
