This face is the face of a music superstar. This is Marshmello, a DJ and producer who has worked with practically all of your favorite A-lister musicians. After first exploding on the scene in 2015, Marshmello has skyrocketed in the music world. He has headlined EDM festivals, played the opening ceremony of the 2021 Champions League Final, and became the first artist to perform a concert in the virtual world of Fortnite (that performance, BTW, was watched by over ten million people.)
Marshmello’s popularity came from merging trap with dance, which was unheard of at the time. By adding a layer of pop sensibility to the hip-hop style, Mello created a style that would be aped by his peers. His production style and artistic sense soon led to him becoming one of the most in-demand producers of the day. He has since worked with Selena Gomez (“Wolves”), Anne Marie (“Friends”), Logic (“Everyday”), Bastille (“Happier”), Roddy Ricch (“Project Dreams”), Kane Brown (“One Thing Right”), Halsey (“Be Kind”), Juice Wrld (Come & Go”) and Demi Lovato (“OK Not to Be OK”). Not bad for a man with a bucket on his head.
