Miss America 2020
The 2020 Miss America competition will take place on Dec. 19, 2019 at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut. The hosts will be Kit Hoover and Mario Lopez, with Lauren Ash, Karamo Brown and Kelly Rowland starring as judges. The pageant will be airing on NBC, and will feature 51 contestants (from the 50 states and Washington D.C.) competing for the title of Miss America. The 2019 winner, Nia Franklin, will be on-hand to crown her successor. During the pageant, 15 finalists from the preliminary round will take part in an interview. Those who move on will show off their talent, and from there, the finalists will pitch their social impact initiatives before a winner is chosen. Morgan Nichols — Miss South Carolina
