Morgan Geyser: Was Obsession With Slender Man Encouraged By Her Dad?

One of the alleged Slender Man stabbers' parents definitely knew about her obsession. In April 2014, Morgan Geyser's father shared her creepy drawing on his Instagram account, referring to her as 'Mogo.' Morgan Geyser, 12, was so obsessed with Slender Man that she could not stop thinking about him. Her father, Matt Geyser, even shared one of Morgan's drawings of Slender Man on his now-deleted Instagram account just weeks before she allegedly attempted to kill her 12-year-old friend.

Morgan Geyser’s Slender Man Obsession: Encouraged By Parents?

On Saturday, May 31, Morgan and her friend, Anissa Weier, brought an unidentified friend into the woods and attacked her, allegedly stabbing her 19 times with a stolen kitchen knife.

New details continue to emerge about the two girls and their troubling obsession with Slender Man, including the official criminal complaint which details Morgan telling detectives that she believed he was following her.

In the complaint, Morgan also allegedly revealed that Anissa told her if they did not kill their friend, that Slender Man would come and kill their families.

Now, an eerie drawing of Slender Man has surfaced online, allegedly drawn by Morgan in April 2014. What makes this drawing even more troubling? It was shared on her father’s Instagram account.

“Only Mogo draws Slenderman on a napkin in crayon when we’re out for dinner,” Matt captioned the photo. It was originally shared on his Instagram account “deadboy420” which has since been deactivated.

So, by the looks of this Instagram photo and caption, it’s safe to assume that Morgan’s father knew all about her obsession with the Creepypasta character.

Morgan and Anissa were charged as adults during their Monday, June 2 court hearing. They face up to 65 years in prison, if found guilty.
