What can ya say, he’s Irish! Some buddies dared One Direction’s Niall Horan, 23, to down a pint of Guinness beer, and being that Niall is a true Irishman, that was a challenge he couldn’t turn down.
In a series of three videos posted to Niall’s pal Eoghan’s Snapchat on Nov. 3, the singer tried his hardest to gulp down the huge glass in mere seconds! “No pressure Horan, It’s three from three – if you f*ck this up, you’re letting the side down and the whole of masculinity,” Eoghan can be heard screaming from behind the camera. “Here we go, hang on a second. 3, 2…” Niall took a brief moment to pause and think about his decision before chugging the large drink! That is SO funny!

At the video’s end, it looked like Niall might not have been able to finish the drink, but he shared a Snapchat of his own shortly after to set the record straight. “Guess what country we’re from,” Niall captioned a picture of a whopping seven EMPTY glasses! You read that right; they finished seven glasses of beer! These guys are bananas! But we guess that’s what happens when you mix Irish beer with Irish boys!
A little earlier in the day, the artist revealed that he was “writing” new music with a sexy selfie. The announcement followed the release of Niall’s debut single as a solo artist, “This Town,” which is a beautiful ballad with amazing guitar instrumentals! If his new music sounds anything like his first hit, we are SO ready for it!
We’re a little curious how the writing process went the day after his wild night out though. Niall might want to sleep off those beers for at least a full day before jumping back in the studio to record anything!
