The rapper, 37, hinted at the latter on Twitter on Friday, while chatting with her beloved “Barbz.” When one fan asked if her son was sleeping, Nicki replied, “His Dad [Kenneth Petty] is feeding him while I tweet. He was just sleeping on my chest. That’s his fave place to sleep. He thinks I’m his personal lil bed.”

Nicki hopped on Twitter on Friday morning to celebrate the 10th anniversary of her hit album Pink Friday. But, it was inevitable that the rapper would receive questions about her baby boy, especially since she’s kept his identity secret. Nicki welcomed her first child with husband Kenneth Petty in late September or October (the exact date is unknown). She gave birth just months after announcing her pregnancy in a series of Instagram posts on July 20. At the time, the Grammy nominee shared professional snaps, via a stunning David LaChapelle photoshoot, of her bare baby bump dressed in a series of designer outfits.
Despite protecting her son’s privacy, Nicki shared the first photo of the newborn on October 21, which also marked her first wedding anniversary with Kenneth. While Nicki did not share her son’s face with the world, she did show a closeup of his tiny foot.
Speaking of Twitter Q&A’s, Nicki conducted one in early November and revealed more about her motherhood journey. The new mom told her fans that despite people telling her to “get a nanny like normal celebrities,” she’s struggled with the “difficult decision.” Why? — A source previously told HollywoodLife that Nicki wants to soak up every bit of motherhood with her baby boy, instead of having extra help.
In another tweet, Nicki hinted that her baby boy already has strong personality. “Last night I tried to tweet while I was feeding him,” she shared with fans and explained, “He looked @ me & said ‘absolutely TF NOT’ he wants his undivided attention chile.” The “MEGATRON” rapper continues to add suspense around her baby boy, having said, “It’s a secret,” when one fan asked if he looks more like her or Kenneth.
