Norman Lear is celebrating his 100th birthday and considering the man is a television legend by creating some of the most famous shows in history, he certainly has a slew of Hollywood heavyweights sending him well wishes! Actors, writers and directors — including Kim Fields, Cary Elwes and Rob Reiner — are tipping their hats to the iconic producer who brought ‘All in the Family,’ ‘The Facts of Life,’ ‘Maude’ and more exemplary sitcoms to viewer’s living rooms in the 70s and 80s.
‘Happy Birthday to literally my oldest friend who turns 100 today!’ Reiner wrote on Twitter. ‘This wonderful person, @TheNormanLear, is responsible for creating the modern American sitcom and producing a little movie called #ThePrincessBride which changed my life forever. We love you Norman’
