The MLB star, nicknamed “El Torito”, is a Venezuelan professional baseball center fielder for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball. After he spent 2008 to 2014 playing for the Texas Rangers, the Phillies selected him in the Rule 5 draft, on December 11, 2014. The athlete made his big league debut on April 6, 2015 as the team’s opening day center fielder. In 2016, he hit .286 with 21 doubles, six triples, 15 home runs, 49 RBIs, 25 stolen bases and a .781 OPS, which led to a new, five year extended deal with the Phillies. However, he was placed on a seven day leave by the MLB in 2019 after being arrested on a report of domestic violence. You can see more photos from the MLB star by clicking through the gallery.
