Before her engagement to Alex Rodriguez, Jennifer Lopez had quite the storied love life and it all started with Ojani Noa. The pair met in the late ‘90s when Ojani was working as a waiter at singer Gloria Estefan’s restaurant. In February 1997, the couple married. But it didn’t last long. J. Lo and Ojani divorced by January 1998 and although things seemed amicable the pair ran into quite a number of legal squabbles. J. Lo prevented Ojani from writing a book about their marriage, and Ojani was fired from managing J. Lo restaurant in 2002 after serving as the manager for only six months. Since then, Ojani has capitalized on being J. Lo’s first husband, appearing on ‘Million Dollar Matchmaker’ and using his platform to show off his exercise routine.
