The Color Purple is going to be the movie event of the season! The film, based on the stage musical that was inspired by Alice Walker’s groundbreaking novel, will be released in theaters on December 25. Ahead of the film’s debut, the stars of The Color Purple assembled for the world premiere on December 6 in Los Angeles.
