‘Orange Is The New Black’ Final Season Premiere — Photos
The season 7 premiere for ‘Orange Is The New Black’ produced a red carpet full of fun pieces, from bright colors to dramatic fabrics! And for good reason — it’s the Netflix show’s final season, after first premiering in 2013. The cast dressed accordingly for the grand finale like Laverne Cox, who transformed into a Disney princess in a gown affixed with a never-ending trail of lavender tulle. But fans were especially obsessing over the actress’ hair, which was swept up into a fringe-heavy ‘do reminiscent of Beyoncé on the 2006 album cover of ‘B’Day.’
Leading lady Taylor Schilling paid homage to the ‘OITNB’ theme colors in a ruched, asymmetrical gown that stood out against the black carpet with its deep orange color. Uzo Aduba opted for elegance in an emerald satin gown with a brilliant sheen. Not everyone showed up in dresses and gowns, however, as ladies like Alysia Reiner still brought the party in a silver sequined jumpsuit.
The red carpet premiere was hosted on July 25, 2019, just one day before season 7 streamed on Netflix.
