Tara Reid is an icon of the late 90s and early 2000s, known for her bubbly, blonde personality. Born November 8, 1975, the American actress made her film debut in 1987’s Salem’s Lot, but she didn’t become a pop culture fixture until the late 90s. Roles in the Big Lebowski (1998) and the American Pie movies (1999, 2001, 2012), made her the embodiment of the “dumb blonde” stereotype. Other notable parts included Urban Legend (1998), Dr. T & the Women (2000), Josie and the Pussycats (2001), Van Wilder (2002), My Boss’s Daughter (2003), Alone in the Dark (2005), and the six Sharknado movies (2013–2018).
She had her own reality travel show on the E! network called Taradise in 2005, and was a housemate on the 2011 British reality series Celebrity Big Brother 8. Tara is also a huge animal rights advocate.
