The ‘Game of Thrones’ cast reunited for one final send-off at the 2019 Emmy Awards. The show’s final season is nominated for a whopping 32 awards. Nominees include Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, Peter Dinklage, Gwendoline Christie, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Lena Headey, and Alfie Allen. The show is also nominated for Best Drama Series. Regardless of your feelings about the final season, ‘Game of Thrones’ has achieved so much as a TV show and pushed the boundaries of what’s expected from a television series to a whole new level. The final episode alone was watched by a series record of 19.3 million viewers. Ahead of the 2019 ceremony, the HBO show has been nominated for 160 Emmys and won 57 of them.
