The New York City Tiffany & Co. store, also known as The Landmark, has officially been revamped! The prestigious jewelry store held a special reopening event on Apr. 27, 2023, ahead of the opening to the general public on Apr. 28.
According to the company, the redesigns took about three years and will now be open for everyone to enjoy. This is the first time that The Landmark has undergone a major renovation since it first opened in 1940. The interior of the store has been designed by architect Peter Marino, according to Prestige.
In its entirety, The Landmark boasts 10 luxurious floors for customers to shop, including a private penthouse for select clients. There are also many exclusive artworks added to the store done by famous artists such as Anna Weyant, Damien Hirst, Daniel Arsham, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Julian Schnabel, and Rashid Johnson.
“The reopening of the iconic Fifth Avenue Landmark is a major milestone for our House. Symbolic of a new era for Tiffany & Co., The Landmark is much more than a jewelry store — it is a cultural hub with an exquisite showcase of architecture and superior hospitality, as well as cutting-edge art and design,” president and CEO, Anthony Ledru said in a statement.
