CMA Country Christmas aired on Nov. 30 at 9:00 p.m. on ABC. The event was hosted by Thomas Rhett and his wife, Lauren Akins. For the first time, CMA Country Christmas was filmed without a live audience due to the coronavirus pandemic. This provided a more intimate setting for some of the biggest stars in country music to sing holiday classics. Performers included Thomas himself, as well as Kelsea Ballerini, Florida Georgia Line, Gabby Barrett, Darius Rucker, Tim McGraw and more.
Thomas and Lauren brought some family joy to the program by bringing their three daughters — Willa, Ada and Lennon — out for an appearance. The girls wore matching Christmas pajamas and were all smiles as they posed for a family picture with their famous parents.
