Danielle Herrington is a model best known for her appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
Before fame, she grew up in Compton, California and majored in Psychology in college with the aspiration of becoming a child psychiatrist.
However, modeling was always her one true calling, and she had actually been homeschooled most of her life, deciding to focus on her modeling career at the tender age of 13.
She made her big break in 2017 when she was included on the list of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit rookies. And this big break was certainly BIG news, as she became just the third African-American woman to grace the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. Before her, was Beyoncé in 2007 and Tyra Banks in 1997 and 2019.
Not too long after her Sports Illustrated shoot, she graced her first major runway during New York Fashion Week, at the Philipp Plein’s spring show alongside Irina Shayk and Adriana Lima.
