Kristen Bell does press for the animated ‘Central Park’ TV show for Apple+ TV’s streaming service on Jan. 19, 2020. She voiced the role of mixed-race “Molly” in season one of the show, but on June 24 announced she was leaving the role to that a mixed race or Black actress could take over voicing the part. She wrote in an Instagram post, “I am happy to relinquish this role to someone who can give a much more accurate portrayal and I will commit to learning, growing and doing my part for equality and inclusion.”
Kristen got her big break on The UPN then CW crime drama ‘Veronica Mars.’ She’s appeared in films including ‘Forgetting Sarah Marshall,’ ‘Bad Moms’ and CHiPs.’ On the small screen she starred in the NBC comedy ‘The Good Place’ from 2016-2020. Her voice work is highly in demand, as she provided the voice of Anna in Disney’s animated ‘Frozen’ and ‘Frozen 2.’ She’s also voiced animated characters on ‘Robot Chicken,’ ‘Big Mouth’ and more. Kristen provided the main voiceover on the CW’s ‘Gossip Girl’ as the eponymous mystery character.
Kristen is married to fellow actor Dax Shepard and they have two daughters, Lincoln and Delta.
